I am making some graphics for some websites and I need to make banners that have text about 10pt. When I make it in photoshop it comes out kinda pixelized. I have seen many sites that have small sharp text. How do you do that?

there are different anti-ailising type options in photoshop, have you tried those?

None
sharp
crisp
strong
smooth

I wish I had something clever to put here.......

You have to figure out what color background the text will be on and anti-alias it to that color.

isnt that what anti-aliasing does? blends the 'object' to the background color. or are you saying thats theres a way to adjust the anti aliasing?[/quote]

Yes, that is what anti-aliasing does. But when you design it in Photoshop, you have to make sure that the color your anti-aliasing to is the color that is going to be underneath it on the Web.

Anti-aliasing to to a transparent background usually leaves white specks around the object.
