Produced these cars from scratch using self taught techniques with Adobe Illustrator and/or CorelDraw. Any views on them would be much appreciated as I am in process of deciding what to include in my design portfolio. Thanks everyone!

They look pretty good. The golf is really nice, looks real in certain areas.

The only thing about them that don't sit well with me is the specularity (the shines, or reflections, or whatever you want to call them). I can't quite place what's wrong, its either that they are too soft edged or too white, or a combination of the two. With the beetle its really prominent to the point of looking like the color is changing, not that the surface is shiny or reflective. On the golf, the passenger side of the hood looks right on. So whatever you did there, do it every where else.

I'd have to agree with John G on the reflections and highlights, but overall a nice job...the undercar shadows need a bit of work too...not a lot, just make them more accurate. It looks like a lot of time spent on the cars, so don't skimp on the shadows...
