Hi, this site (http://www.fluidwav.com) for a client is just about done. There is still some spell checking and what not to do. I'm hoping you can do me the favor of taking a look to see if anything is broken or weird on your browser? Thanks,

Hi Peter,

I get some odd line spacings in Firefox version 1, Windows XP.

Looking at your code, you have extra <p> elements in places, and also there is no need for a
tag after a list item (<li>) tag, they should be block level elements anyway.

Nice design. Especially the photo. Did you take it?

Thanks guys. Benjamin, can you explain a bit about not needing a tag after a <li>? I'm not sure what you mean.

The photo is actually going to change (the client isn't too fond of it). That's today's task.

Peter

Hey Benjamin - I got it - I had pasted some html into a textpattern article. Textpattern didn't recognize that it was code, and doubled up on the tags. I'm fixing it now...

By the way, do you do your own photos? I'm just starting to do this now.

I have. The photo on flashlightdesign.com (http://flashlightdesign.com) is mine. I find that photography requires a different form of thinking from design. That being said, I don't do it often enough. I love the way looking at the world as a photographer forces you to see all kinds of beauty and interest that one would normally glance past...

LOL @ 'coffee slave'

I know what you mean flashlight... photography really does change the way you look at the world. I drive over an hour to work each day and have to leave the house at 6:30am. Each morning the sunrise is different, and I can't tell you how much I would love to cut out on work and spend the morning snapping photos. I saw some king of large hawk or falcon in a tree while driving down the highway earlier in the week, and my first reaction was to grab for my camera... at 70mph!

I came to my sense quickly though, so noone was hurt in the process. /emoticons/tongue.gif

Power to the Old Schoolers! and btw, if you can't say something nice, shut the hell up.
