Cool, the dimensions are ok, only the mouth should be dark/black from the center.
The snake's tongue should start from below, correct me if I'm wrong on this.

Try posterising the photo in photoshop (set ard 3-5), that'll help.

WOW Liam...give the members a lil bit of time to reply!! Most of us are at work while we are reviewing the forum and sometimes can't post right away!!

I was gonna reply and then saw your second post..sheese!! You should possibly edit that one...haha!

I think you did good for your first illustration in illustrator! Keep playing around with it and learn how to manipulate those nodes...they're great one you get a 'handle' on em!! ;o)

Keep up the good work!

lol, i deleted, the second post.
thanks for the idea d-zine (i will delete bad posts when i accidently freak out)
tho' i do go by views (possibly not a good idea)

ok, well
this was in ILLUSTRATOR excercise, i allready handed it in, but i am proud of it. i think i have improved a lot w/ the pen tool.
i was thinking a good idea would be to export the seporate layers to photoshop, and mess w/ them to add photorealistic textures ;) just for fun of course, and after this i have enough skills to maybye vectorize a photo of myself :)
thanks for the feedback, i appreciate it, oh and btw, what do you think of my new sig, lol

yes, you could. It takes a lot of patienct to be able to use the gradient mesh well, but it's worth it!

Power to the Old Schoolers! and btw, if you can't say something nice, shut the hell up.
