Are you guys teenage girsl? Of course it doens't work for you...this is strictly a young girls site and my daughter loved it. She is always making pictures In illustrator and photoshop) to send to friends and she loved all the dolls. ...and she could be a single mom with a creative daughter and wants her daughters interests recognized....you have no idea how much $4 a month is to single moms....and that would mean they would know how to find them.

This little girl is obviously trying to do something. Short of saying you are man, did I make you think that? And since everything is free, what could be an ad?

whoa whoa.....dont start flaming us men....the link worked and I could see how kids could like it....

4 bucks aint crap....i make 5.50 an hour plus I go to school and I pay for everything computer, rent, car insurance, etc. I make 150 bucks a week I promise you no one has a tighter budget than me. $4 a month is one cup of star bucks coffee or one trip to McDonalds, two gallons of gas. Buying hosting and domain names are KEY or having people remember and go to your site.... whose going to remember www.blahblah.freehosting.com? If she does not care about traffic then there's really no point of having a site.....hell I would sell some designs on cafepress.com and make some money if I were her.

I hate the whole ... oh feel sorry for the single mom crap.... women have equal rights and I hope she is getting child support.... so unless she cant afford an internet connection and a computer and the programs to make the animate gifs on them then I am sure she is doing just fine.

I really meant it when I said Go Kid, cuz eventually she may become what Ryan is today if the interest stays.

As far as real hosting, Big Perm, not everyone is interested in traffic or cares where Google rates them. If I had a site, strictly for myself it damn sure would be a free one cuz even with what I make for a living (and it isn't anywhere near what I should be making) I have no NEED for a domain. I'm sure the little girl is happy with her site and had a lot of fun making it and sharing it with her friends.

I broke my own promise to myself not to critique sites and art anymore.
Won't happen again.

Some people just have websites, like this kid maybe, to have fun, share photos, hobby, or just learning how.
I'm not a 'pro' designer. I don't need a site for anything other than a hobby.
Think out of the box a little bit.
Not everyone has your world view.

These critique requests just aren't worth the hassle. Done. no more.
