I don't know if it's the same in the States, but in the UK most agencies and prospective employers want your Resume/CV in Word format. I don't use Word much but i'm guessing that if you use an installed font, they won't see it at their end, unless they too have it installed... Is that right? If that's the case, how do you put together a well presented, original Resume??? Generally system fonts aren't that great!?!

I'd go with a PDF if they will accept one, you never know who might be messing around with your resume if you just send them a word file

Match in the gas tank, boom boom.

Thanks for that link Morea, i'd missed that thread somehow!?! I can totally realte to that, i sent my res in .pdf format first (to a local agency) and they couldn't even figure out how to open it!?! It took their IT dept half the morning apparently, which i find just a little odd lol! In the end they practically insisted on a word version... Strange days! :s
