Finding color codes??? help!

A client would like to have me color their page this specific color and they gave me the code for it: 81223D

I work in Illustrator. How do I find a color using the code they gave?

That appears to be a hexadecimal code. Used for web stuff.



If you click on the little square colour swatch on the colour panel, you are presented with a colour picker dialog box.
Somewhere near the bottom is a box that has a '#' beside it. type that code in there. It seems to be a sort of brownish red.
