I just designed and entire Line-Sheet/Order Form for a clothing company, all in QuarkXpress 5.0...and I guess its an educational version becuase it will not let me save it as an .eps, or collect for output, or Export as .PDF!!
I'm so screwed! does anyone have, or know where I can get a non-education version of Quark??? http://www.graphicdesignforum.com/emoticons/shakehead.gif I don't know what to do =[ They need this thing by Friday, so I have until then to find a way to save this darn thing...
Any help is BEYOND appreciated! THANK YOU!!!

Sounds to me like you have a Demo version. As far as I know the educational version lets you do all the things listed above. You need to go to www.quark.com (http://www.quark.com) to purchase the full version.
Oh...as a side note - we do NOT condone PIRACY of any kind of the GDF!!!!!!!

I got a legitimate copy of Quark5, asked Quark myself (only 3 days waiting time), on eBay. It was only $149. That's if you are lucky.

You can probably print it.I assumeyou are working on PC, so you need to install any postscript printer (if you don't already have it). If you're working on Mac platform, you already have it.
Then you can print your document into file (with .prn or .ps extension). After that, put that file into Acrobat Distiller, which will produce pdf file. Take care of some Distiller options: resolution, font embedding.Or choose "Press" in "job options", i think that will produce good pdf file.

presuming you can do that with a distiller demo(is there one?) or can find a cracked version on limewire -> have fun with your viral load, if that's the case.
another solution - maybe your local kinkos will have a computer with quark on it. i've seen one or two. shell out $5 and go convert it there.

On a demo version the print option is completely grayed out. You can't print to anything. Not even a ps file.
