I rented the LOTR Return of the King 4 disc box set last night, and there is an awesome documentary on WETA design, the place that did all the annimation and 3D..it was really incredable because they not only showed the technical aspect, but the lives and emotions of actually trying to get such an enourmous project done. /emoticons/thumbsup.gif

I have to get that. I was kinda dissappointed that wasn't on the extras for the two disk regular version. I would much prefer this to all the footage of Peter Jackson wandering around in shorts musing about the movie. /emoticons/lol.gif

Yeah, there was actually tons of PJ stuff, but it was really different than the other stuff I'd seen, like what you described. It seems like they just pulled all the stops on the 'bonus material' this time :)
So can't wait til the Hobbit...how bout you?

Well, it's more of a rumor, Peter Jackson declared he was done with all that, but I don't see how they can't not do it...I mean, imagine it...i really think if they wait a bit it might actually be bigger than LITR...so many more 'non fantasy geeks' have read the hobbit...it's famous
