I know I'm going to bang my head on the desk when I find out. How do you turn off thezig zag, roughen, pucker & bloat etc.. effect when you draw another shape?

Example - I applied the zig zag effect to a square...but when I drew another square the zig zag effect was still on. I'm thinking to myself...I didn't give the command to apply the zig zag effect to the new square. What gives???http://www.graphicdesignforum.com/emoticons/eyecrazy.gif

actually, it does the same thing to me when using the 'zig zag' in Illy 10 for Windows 2000 - not sure why... I figured out a workaround a while back, but for the life of me I can't remember what it was!

Power to the Old Schoolers! and btw, if you can't say something nice, shut the hell up.

open your styles and swatches pallette, and click on the first boxes in the pallete that will clear out any effects. Check out the screen shot. Each one may fix it depending on what you are trying to stop.

No Problem, yah i never did use that pallete either, until I started using some of my own styles, and work related tedious tasks that make it go alot quicker.
