Yep, it's Monday. After having to work late on Friday afternoon (which sucks) for a job that 'just has to be done now', and not having it picked up til half an hour ago, I have officially declared this Monday as 'Wonder Woman not doing much work day'. After being here for 6 hours now, no one seems to have noticed. Not sure if that's worrying or not!

Very uneventful weekend for me and wasn't the one I wanted compared to past Mardi Gras. My friends had the best intentions, but we all ended up just hitting up a few bars (yawn). Then got hit on by some incredibly smashed thirty-odd year old woman, who ended up kicking my ass in pool thanks to her sober partner who just happened to be talented in the game. Didn't get much sleep last night, so I feel like a zombie today. Then as I got into work, I had to put up with all the heckling for not watching the Super Bowl (I hate televised sports). Don't know who played, don't know who won, could care less.
And over the past few months, I've been noticing more and more advertisements and billboards using that damned Copperplate font. Wear it out any further, and it'll be the new Comic Sans.

Oh, and now some dumb broad just asked me 'Can you send this in any other format' when she wanted me to send her the logo to her company. I sent an EPS and a TIF (and if you can use GIF and JPG, YOU CAN USE A DAMNED TIF). So I think I'm gonna send a HIGHLY compressed JPEG just because I'm in a fowl mood. Maybe I'll even live a little....how does 45dpi sound? >:)

lol.. Patrick... I've done that to a customer before... It's a perfect set-up for you to get to say 'I told you so' without sounding snooty about it!

Yup it's Monday! Stuck here with my lovely slacking co-worker. Other one is on vacation today. Just keeping my head down and doing what I have to! Was very very hard to drag myself in here today.
Got our Verizon DSL stuff this weekend. Have it all hooked up and waiting for service. That was easy enough. Service date is two weeks away, argh! Also had to figure out how to get my Dad's iPod to run on their crappy 98 machine. Got that setup but had to format the iPod itself at home. Now I have to take it back to him. Seeing the parents is always...<sarcasm>so much fun?!<sarcasm> Wasn't the easy thing to get it going. Finally did though. Almost lost our business website that I am building but that was my own stupidity. Got it backed up though. Lets just say technology was not my friend this weekend! LOL!
Superbowl was good, commercials were not great.
Well, I supposed I should be working on something. No drive, but it has to be done. Yup, it's Monday!

How did you pull that off, CEC? iPod's only work (so Apple says) on 2000/XP; what kind of barrier do you have to get around to make it work on 98?
This Monday just keeps getting worse and worse. Customers are now calling right and left wanting me to typeset text on a letterhead (or something), no design work. Do I look like a damned secretary? Is this what I went to college for? This is why I'd prefer to work for a more dedicated graphics/advertising/etc place, far less soccer mom projects (or none).
