Submitted by Bob-An Internet friend of mine swears this is true, as it happened to him, in his office. He is the de facto computer repairman, only because he has seen the inside of one. One day, his boss asked him to do what he could to repair the cup-holder on the front of his personal PC. A cursory inspection revealed a CD-ROM tray warped beyond repair, and an expensive CD-ROM drive, useless.

I have been a manager for McDonald's for several years & have worked with some pretty stupid people. The best however, is Amanda in Dothan, AL. One day several years ago we had a small 'blizzard'. We were very busy and understaffed. I had seated a customer who was waiting on a Big Breakfast (2 eggs, biscuit, sausage, & hash browns). When the order was complete I placed it on a tray & asked Amanda to carry it out for me. 5 minutes later I still had not seen her return from the lobby. I looked outside and she was actually out there knocking on windows looking for the customer. As if this were not stupid enough when I explained that I would have placed it into a bag if it was to go out to a car, She wanted to know if I thought she should put the hash brown (NOW COVERED IN SNOW) back into the vat for a minute before taking it out!!! Amanda was 16 I hope she's a little smarter now!!!

One day as a lady got off from work, she went outside to the parking lot, but couldn't find her car in her usual spot. She began to worry and search the parking lot and the began to panic when she still couldn't find it. She then went outside to call the police to report the car stolen. Later, she got a ride home and as she was going into the garage, she noticed her car. She then wondered why the people who stole her car parked it in her garage. She then went inside the house to tell her husband the news. Her husband just kind of looked at her and reminded her that he drove her to work that morning.

A nice but easily flustered older lady in our office one day believed she had locked her keys in her car. Befuddled, she recruited the building's security guard to help her. While the security guard looked at the driver's side front door and considered what to do, the lady realized the back door on the driver's side was still unlocked. 'That's not supposed to be unlocked!' she exclaimed. In a flash she opened the door, pushed in the lock and slammed the door before the security guard could interrupt. Truly a true story.
