I drop by webmasterworld and siteexperts sometimes too.

Then I always check slashdot and winbeta.org

ONCE in a blue moon, I'll visit forums for XM Radio. I tried to get into Keenspace's forum (online comic artist), but there's just something that isn't appealing about ten pages to threads asking you what you like to drink while drawing.

Only one I'm always on is this one. Just like it. Therapeutical. Not to mention I'm so bored with my job that it keeps me somewhat stimulated. Oooh, look at the pretty birdy.....

I used to do the gamefaqs thing, but just too many negative jerks there (some of their personalities rubbed off on me, I'm trying to rub it off of myself) to warrant setting up the new account...that and minimized interest and less time to play games.

Otherwise, this is just about all I have time for...but then again, I'm real selective, and GDF is the only forum site that meets my superficial, high standards!http://www.graphicdesignforum.com/emoticons/cheers.gif

What, cheat on GDF? I could never! Ha!

Actually I don't have enough time on here let alone any others. The only other ones that I have looked at is the HOW one and the about.com forum. Unfortunately for them, they just don't compare to good ole GDF!

Today I begin to understand what love must be, if it exists.... When we are parted, we each feel the lack of the other half of ourselves. We are incomplete like a book in two volumes of which the first has been lost. That is what I imagine love to be: incompleteness in absence.

Youare gonnalisten to me..and you are gonna LIKE IT!!!!!!

I am always on GDF, every day... it's my internet home!

but I also drop in on Wakeboarder.com.... but there is too much testosterone (sp?) in there.
And the chicks are too into themselves, it's pointless to even post in there.

Gosh, I just got started here thanks to morea and neuro aka CEC, but since I write about comics and other media fun for Sequential Tart, I do visit their 'Tartsville' message boards:

http://www.sequentialtart.com/cgi-bin/community/Ultimate.cgi

They are a great bunch of ladies, and if you ever wanted to know anything about comics, they are the ones to teach you!

No -- your blog is nice and manageable. I *almost* think that you joined the trend when neuro started his! (Oops, did I say that out loud? Will you let me keep your marble? Should I even be mentioning that sort of thing here?)

Ah well. Too late now -- the Frith cat is out of the bag, so to speak.

Well, you won't catch me starting a blog! I'd rather post little snippets of thoughts like this...

...how can someone who has worked in pre-press for a whole year actually NOT know how to change a color's transparency in Illustrator? How is this possible, when there are perfectly good technicians out there who wouldn't hesitate to stab him in the eye, step over his bleeding head and take his job? Why is he there, torturing the sanity of others with his inane behavior? Why, why, why...

...y'know, deep thoughts like that. Oh, heck. I'd rather read a forum than blog my whole mind out. Not that I don't appreciate blogs, but I think that a forum is more community-oriented while the blog is more personal. It's like a personal billboard advertising your personality to others.

Anyone else have a comparison of blogs and forums?
