It's bad enough i'm getting like 4 to 5 hours of sleep these days. i'm tired during the day but when i get home i've got some side jobs going that keep my up until 2 or 3am. Now my body is so used to sleeping late i can't sleep earlier.

Then again i've always been a night owl. /emoticons/blink.gif

It's really funny...if I get a creative streak I could easily work all night. I've always been a night owl.

Now, if those creative streaks could come on command I'd be set!

Someone told me that she tells herself 'breathe in, breathe out, breathe in, breathe out' over and over again, in time with her breathing. It really clearns your head and helps her fall asleep. I usually get bored doing it, but it's a nice appetizer before I pass out.

'I really should do something, but I'm already in my pajamas!'

I'm a night owl. It just sucks having to get up early the next day.

Ahhhh....

Something of the same problem here...

Iwork the overnight shift at a national TV network.11 pm to 7 am.

I thought after a few months on this new shift, I'd be used to it. Nah. And I've always been a night owl, and worked strange hours for many years now in entertainment. If there's not a lot of stories that require graphics for the next day, it's a loooong night.

The important thing is to get into a routine. Even if that includes fitting WoW into said routine(!). Somewhat difficult if you do any freelance work outside of the office hours, though.

Unfortunately, any slight variation in that routine (i.e. The Weekend) screws me up completely.

It's like being in a permanent state of jetlag.

No matter what, humans were meant to be asleep at night, and awake during the day...

i hear ya' man....really it's the freelance stuff that pancakes me up, but i'll have weeks where i sleep early because i'm so exausted from the previous weeks. I used to work graveyard too at my previuos job. It wasn't fun, and it was weird sleeping during the day.

Cool avatar by the way!

...re the avatar...

The result of a slowwww night at work a few months back...unfortunately, it didn't take long.

Every once in a while, I take an extra 'day' off-otherwise I would truly go insane.

I literally sometimes have difficulty remembering what day it is.
