It is a nice gestureto leave comments for the photographers if you use their images though. Just a courtesyto them for providing free images for our use.</div>

((only catch (but its not really one)) is that some people like it when you mention them in credits if used their pic and to contact them,, but its not really a catch,, its a nice thing to do if you get free stuff!!))

this is such a big secret still to the industry, that im a little scared if it gets to be too big that they will start charging....: ( I just told a designer of 25yrs yesterday about this site.....I literally heard his jaw hit the ground.

O thank god. It was a nightmare last time I tried to find some free stock photography. All the previously good sites seem to charge now or they have really crappy search features.

Just thought I would let you all know that I have almost 20 stock photos up on SXC now, im really enjoying adding to the community. If you are on there and have some time to kill, look me up, my username on the site is PGD (in capitals, not lowercase, and yes it does matter) leave some comments or rate my photos, it would be much appreciated.

I went to one today that was pretty good. It had a lot of abstract stuff and images of paper, bark, all kinds of background materials. In addition there is some origional art.

Told a professional photographer about this site (sxc)yesterday.
Interesting reaction; from surprise to denial to anger to sadness to desperation and finally to rage and crying.
Gave me a nice warm feeling inside.
