Yeah, the cat who raised me (he lived to be 17 years old) used to love the sound of the can opener. ANY can opener. He was usually so dignified, but he would immediately be a fool for anything in a can (until he discovered that it was pineapple or some other substance that he couldn't eat).

Maybe I'll post a dozen or so of the 146 digital pics my g/f and I took of our 2 cats. We have this really funny shot of Oreo's bung hole. Know how cats always stick their butts in the air when you scratch their back hips? Well we caught it on camera...lol. It's like jupiter's red spot...or the eye of sauron.

I have 3 big litter pans right now, but usually have 4 or 5 set up. It only takes me about an hour to clean their room.

they don't always go to the same bowl to eat. they push and shove like they haven't seen food in days! It took more than a few attempts to get that shot. /emoticons/biggrin.gif

Ok...I don't have one of Spanky at dinnertime..sorry!

This is the most recent I have - taken last week! He was so sick with his kidney disease the past year and he had lost alot of weight...went down to 9lbs from 16 - poor baby! He is now gaining the weight back and is quite heavy! He appears to be pretty healthy! I'm glad I decided to just go with the flow with him and take each day as it comes. He is doing VERY WELL!!

heavens no! I make sure all of the cats that come into my house are immediately spayed or neutered. It's sad to think of how many healthy animals are killed each year because they can't find homes. That's exactly why I do rescues :)

Looks like I might have to get some cats some day. See what it is I'm missing! Is it true that cats would do anything for milk? Or just an urban myth? I hear stories like they get in gangs and attack the milkmen! I don't know whether you have milkmen in the States who get up at 4 to deliver fresh milk for you in the morning.

Anyway, it's 10:45 - bedtime for me. Can I borrow a cat to cuddle?

I don't let these guys have milk, because while they would enjoy it, it isn't good for them. All of my cats are indoor only, as well, for safety.
