So I stand there in the store isle, looking at the World of Warcraft box that squeaks 'Buy me! Buy me!' I liked the other Warcraft games, but I never really had a good experience with online RPGs, though I certainly appreciate their concept. Problem is that none of my friends play them (I think I'd get more out of them if they played along with me), they're way time consuming, not to mention that I don't wanna have to fight a bunch of rats for two months just to get to level three. Besides, I have a very active outside life too.
So I know some of you play WoW, so how is it? Worthy purchase? Easy to get into? Not heavily dependant on time? And is it one of those games that confines you in a certain area until you're uber-powerful? (I personally love to explore in games, but that's impossible in your Everquests and Final Fantasy XI's.)
