hi guys, i'm new to this forum,
i'm a dutch kiteboardshaper and am getting myself educated in illustrator 10 for boardgrahics.
these have to be made in vector, everything is coming out pretty good.
but!
i need some vector grahics to work with, does anybody now some sites where i can find a load of vectorgraphics to work with?
any help would be appriciated!

hi ampeter - welcome to the forum! what sort of graphics do you need? why not just draw your own? that is, after all, what illustrator is for...
well, if you absolutely can't draw, ('pfft!' is what i say to that, but i digress), then you could do a google search for free vector graphics. but remember: you get what you pay for. mr-clipart.com has some.
if i were you and absolutely had to have clip-art instead of drawing your own, i would look at approaching a designer or artist that you like and have them make something custom. that way, you can give them measurements, and they can create something unique, specifically for your kiteboard...shape... (i'm in over my head here. i have no idea what you do...sorry)
i'll dig into my list of favorites and try to remember to post some decent artists for you.

okay, i just looked up kiteboarding. that's awesome.
a few of the members of the gdf have done projects for cars & things, so maybe they'd know better. but i would just do your own. what sort of graphics are you looking for?

i'm just looking for almost everything, but especially flowers, just some cool lines, flames, backgrounds, whatever!
the trick is that i take a shape that i have created in ill. and than disform the graphic into the shape so it looks like the way i want to
i' ve made something so far, but i'm an absolute idiot in ill., can't even get my rulers out straight!!!!
if i now how to get a pick posted, i will show you what i've created
