Hi all

I am new to this forum but have been an illustrator/designer for 15 years. I work exclusively with corel and am in a field where I seldom have to export to illustrator. When I have in the past I find that the illustrator file has vertical cuts in it but have been able to dodge this by breaking the corel file apart before exporting. I have a file here that is way too complex to break apart but need to get it into an illustrator file. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get this accomplished. I am stumped.

Check out this page: http://www.oberonplace.com/vba/drawmacros/aiclipboard

It works great! Not only to and from from AI, but this will even allow you to paste Corel vector graphics directly into InDesign and have them editable (or Corel paths into Pshop!)! I liked it so much I made up a series of buttons for my main toolbar to accomodate these.

Be sure to back up to the main Oberon site for lots of other great stuff from Alex, the great Corel script guru.

Thanks for the reply. I followed all of your instructions and I got a message saying that VBA was not installed. I guess I will have to track down my install discs and install VBA.
