Hello,

A bit of an emergency, I have an InDesign 5.5 document that I need to get a pdf of so that I can email it to a client. However I work on an earlier version of InDesign, so I can't open the file. Does anyone know who/where I could go to get this done. It doesn't need any artworking, just a simple open and export to pdf.

Many thanks.

You could download the 30-day trial of 5.5, but I can't guarantee you'll safely be able to remove it without consequences.

Send the file to me along with a full payment of bacon and beer and we'll call it even.

In all seriousness, there's nothing you can do besides find yourself a version of Indy 5.5

Probably a dumb question, but can you get in touch with whoever created the file initally and get them to save it as an IDML file?

Of course, if you could get in touch with them, they could just save it as a PDF I guess...
