I have a document that needs to be in Arabic, Chinese and Russian. Can I do it in Indesign?

You mean can you translate it through ID? /DesktopModules/dotNetBB/emoticons/blink.gif
If that is the question, I don't think so but I could be wrong. I think you need to have it translated elsewhere and then do the layout in ID.

You mean fonts right?
You can get fonts and keyboard maps for nearly every language.

Its not just the fonts. Its the direction of text flow, hyphenation etc.
For instanceI used Quark before with Arab XT extensions which would reverse the text in the text boxes and join the arabic script togetherin the correct way. I can use the same fonts in Indesign but it is unreadable.
With Chinese I used to place PDFs in as graphics. There is a Chinese version of Quark but for the work we do it didn't seem worth the money.
I am fed up with Quark especially the last expensive incarnation with its endless validation that does not work sometimes and am switching to
Indesign.
This is the last point I need to solve.
Thanks for your replies.
