Converting software

Hi! Please help!
I need a program that can convert images between various of formats, including PDF to JPG.
It would be wonderful if it will be able to edit images as well.
Photoshop is too expensive and difficult for me!
Any suggestions?

As far as converting from PDF to JPG. In Acrobat, do a File>Save as>

Change the bottom 'Save as type' from PDF to JPG. There are settings you can change to get better results.

Now as far as editing the image, well, there is always mspaint.

If you want to convert and edit at once, try the ReaConverter Pro. It supports about 340 formats(including PDF and EPS) and has resize, crop, rotate and mirror images, change color resolution features. Also it change image's brightness, contrast, gamma, etc... As for me, it is very useful software.

Irfanview is great too. Even Picassa does basic stuff and is a very fast browser. There's a ton of great free converters to choose from for the PC.
