this is my list of milestones in the history of production technology (1985-2005 only), i.e. i only would like the remarkable breakthoughs and am focusing on pre-press. is this list ok? what woudl you take out or add? many thanks.

1985 Adobe introduces Postscript Page description language
1985 Apple adapts PC into its printers
1985 Low cost laser printer is introduced
1986 Intel processor introduced
1986 Compact disc (CD) introduced
1987 First colour Macs come out
1987 Linotype and IBM follow suite, making it the industry standard
1987 Adobe Illustrator launched
