A time line for the remarkable breakthoughs in Prepress from 1985 to 2005.

i.e. (what i have so far. please add to or tell me what to remove)

1985 - Apple adopts PC into its printers / Low cost laser printer is introduced
1986 - Networked picture systems, INC. Signs up as Pantones first software license for the PC platform.
1987 - LaserWare, Inc. signs ip as Pantones first software licensee for the Macintosh platform
1988 - The worldwide first indrum - postscript imagesetter is released
1989 -

1991 - TrueType format and system 7 introduced by Apple
1992 - Automatic picture replacement becomes available
1993 - International Colour Consortium (ICC) Establihsed to standaize colour mgt.
