ID text box - how to turn off auto-hyphenation - SOLVED.

I thought it would be under preferences for text, but didn't see it there. I'm sure there's a simple way to do it... anybody care to shed some light on this?

ID version 2.0.1 for pc.

with your text tool selected you will see the bar at the top that has an 'A' and a Paragraph symbol. Click on the Paragraph symbol and about half way there is a 'Hyphenation' box that you need to uncheck.

or go to Type and then Paragraph and that pallete will open. the box to uncheck is in the bottom right corner of that pallete. :)

FYI....if you're ever using paragraph style sheets, they also have an hyphenation tab to specify how you want ID to take care of things.

I'm glad to see that Adobe's adopted the tool context top bar in ID and Pshop. I'm hoping AI is next.
