Have you tried a google search for 'Corporate Standards Manual'
If you want, I can e-mail you a few good ones that I have found useful, or have designed myself.

They are all over the web, for most companies you can dowlaod the whole manual.
I have had to do many of them, they are pretty standard for any logo design, stationery etc package.
Here is a simple on I found on the web,
It is the very first link in the google page a pdf to download, this one is nice and basic and should give you a good idea on how they work
www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en-us&q=SCTC+logo+standard+manual&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8 (http://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en-us&q=SCTC+logo+standard+manual&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8)

Hey Renedh

I've just finished a corporate id manual for a company I was working for (I handed in my notice today for a fab job! YIIIPPPEEEEE!!!!) Check out www.youngandgault.co.uk/CORPORATEIDMANUAL.pdf - it's quite indepth as people tend to abuse the brand/identity - so you need to issue strict guidelines for imbeciles such that the corporate identity retians it's strength and doesn't look like a mess as it reflects a bad image on the company.

If you type in corporate identity manual on google you'll find loads of manuals - some are just two pages others are like a bible - it's really dependant on how the stregth of the brand image a company wants to portray or whether it's just a cornershop in the end of the day!

Just have a look on

choose "documentations" from menu.

Enjoy.

If somebody knows manuals not in that lists just drop me a line. Thanks.

An older book by David Carter called "Corporate Identity Manuals" is the bible of the subject. It is dated so I would also get "Designing Brand Identity" by Alina Wheeler. They are both available on Amazon. I think every designer that deals with identity should have both books in thier library.

Sort of on the same topic...

I've helped create these manuals and unfortunately the only ones that follow it are the designers (usually). It never fails that some secretary will be given the task of creating a presentation and "booger" up the brand.

Sorry, had to rant.
