Working for a company as a designer do you maintain the rights(copyright) to the pieces you create or does the company you work for?
I am a student and this is research for my essay - any feedback would be appreciated! THANKS!

Pretty much if you were paid while creating them then unless the company expressly allows you to own the copyright then they do, legally speaking of course.

they own the copyright, cause you are working for them, depending on the contract of course tho. You should maintain rights to use the images in self-promotion ie. portfolio
