Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : Clients that abscond with rough designs
I have been working with a local new age shop designing them their promotional leaflets and have sent them some rough ideas of the layout and presentation of the designs. I'm expecting changes and alterations but haven't heard from them in two weeks now. I have a feeling they have assumed my roughs are finished designs and may be using them, I obviously don't know this to be true it's just a feeling. what would you do in this situation? I have sent them countless emails. Any advice is welcome thanks

1. if they've payed in full, then whatever
2. if they've payed your upfront cost, then whatever, shit happens
3. if they haven't payed at all... show up in person and ask whatsup
4. if you didn't have them sign a contract... whoops.
If you haven't heard anything back, pick up the phone. Who knows, maybe your proofs have gone right to spam or they have been working on something. Clear it up with your client as soon as possible.

Don't panic after two weeks. Especially this time of year. I have one client that I've been working on a web site for for two years now, and it's still not done.
