My brother is looking for software that he can setup movies on DVD with. Not just a burning software but one to create menus and such like you see on professional DVDs. I have heard that Premiere is a good software but also have see that Premiere elements is out there. For someone that doesn't want to spend a huge amount on software, is the "elements" version good enough for this? Is there another software out there that is near that price range and that is comparable? Let me know!!

Thanks!!

My friend makes japanese wrestling videos and sells them on eBay, i'll ask him what he uses, it's something simple (if that's what you want..simple)

check out pinnacle, can't remember the name of their software, and roxio dvd builder (part of their media package, includes burning and audio tools also). they're more your budget end. as far as I know, premiere doesn't really cover dvd menu creation, you can create chapter points etc. but then i've never really explored it cos we got the dv suite and had encore to do all that anyway. i'm presuming we're talking pc here anyway ?

my first response is always a critical one

That's for the info guys. I'll pass it on to my bro and hopefully he'll pick it up before he goes back to Bahrain or shortly after he gets there. He wants to do DVDs of some of the stuff he has shot over in that area of the world and also of his MT ski trip and Mexico trip that he took while home for his 4 week leave. bastid did more in 4 weeks then I'll probably do in 10 years!! ha! Told him I would get some answers on here and thanks for showing I was right.
