My laptop's broke and it can't be fixed... will one of you help me pick another?

Sigh, I was afriad that this day would come. My laptop (a 2.6ghz Celeron Toshiba with 756mb of RAM) has bit the dust. At first I thought it was the power brick/AC Adapter, but I took it to CompUSA and they said that it was the motherboard and a power componet. They also said they couldn't fix it.

So, I've got 700$ and I've searched and searched and searched but so far am unable to buy a new one. I can't spend over 700$. Can any of you think of any that are similiar to the one above. It dosen't have to be a PC laptop, it can be Mac, but I don't see that happening in my price range har-de-har.

Remember, no rebates! The final price has to be 700$. I know it may not be possilbe... But i can always hope.

just stay away from the HP pavillion zd7000. I was stupid enough to buy it. When you work in photoshop, the entire computer just shuts off. and it sucks in air from the bottom, so it's constantly overheating if I don't prop it up high enough.
