I am using indesign to create a catalog - and i recieved some quark files froma client who layed out some of the pages for me - i opened the quark files in indesign and copy and pasted it to my catalog and then relinked the images...but now i am having issues printing it. they are not showing up.

Is there a proper way to dothis??

Try this:

1. open the attributes window.
2. Ungroup your objects if neccessary.
3. Select a linked file.
a. The attributes window said it was okay?!
b. With the linked file still chosen, go to OBJECT > SELECT > CONTENT to dig a little deeper into the file.
c. If the attributes window has non-printing checked, select SELECT > CONTENT each file individually to uncheck non-printing.
