wrapping a label on a 3D bottle...

Hi,

I am designing a brandy label and I want to create a 3D rendering of a bottle and then place the label on it and have it wrap around the bottle.

I was wondering how I can go about doing this.

I am new to 3D so i must ask that you bear with me... im really eager to learn how to do this though... so any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have 3Dstudio 7... i am completely new to 3D... i just have experience with illustrator, corel draw, photoshop type applications.

but i really want to learn how to use 3D studio or any other software that you think i could use.
