Just got Design Suite 5.5. for computer today! No new computer yet - but it's a start.
The purchase also includes updates for the next 2 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY.
Playing with InD CS5.5 and building folios for the iPad all day. This is fun.

Well 5 to 5.5 I recommend it if you're going to be publishing to mobile devices, it's only going to get stronger from now on. Better to get to know the tools now than be really confused in CS Next or CS Nexter.

To note - the upgrade also saw me go from Illy CS2 to CS5 and Photoshop CS2 to CS5 and Acrobat 9 to Acrobat 10.
It's great to have a full suite and know that I will be upgraded for at least the next 2 versions!
I already had Illy Cs5 and PS CS5 at home (well the whole suite).
The most notable change about Illy CS2 to (CS5) is the ability for layer visibility in AI files within InDesign. So I'm looking forward to that.
And content aware fill will get it's use out of me as I constantly get "Can you make the picture wider?"
Well now I can without blowing it up!
It's good to know I have the right tools to do the work and not me doing the work with the wrong tools :D

Excellent!! I'll go there as soon as I leave the Hammock district! I'm going to Mary-Ann's Hammocks. Best part about that, is Mary-Ann gets in the hammock with you!!
