I will be doing a half or full page(not decided yet) for a skateboarding company. The ad should be full color. I have never done anyhting like this. Some photographs will be provided and the rest will be Illustrator/Photoshop work.

What is this job worth?

Thanks

there is no clear cut answer to this question. You need to determine the value of your work based on your experience, location, and other factors.

I've been in publishing a long time and one thing you should know is that the only people who really know what the magazine is able to pay work for that magazine.

There are so many different types of pubilcations in the world that it is just not possible for anyone outside the situation to give you an accurate answer unless they have some facts about your client.

Botton line -- if the magazine has a sizable budget, you may be able to get over $1,000 -- but if it's a small pubilsher with a shoestring budget, it could be $100 or even less.

If you have any other questions, just shout.
