Hello everyone in Quarkland,

Will I encounter printing problems if I colour a greyscale tiff 70% of a colour, and the box it's in 100% of the same colour.

I am using quark 4.1, mac G4, OS 9.1, sending postscript files using the brisque v4 ppd.

Many thanks,

Rob

cuz he wants a two tone image using 1 pms? Don't know if 70% against 100% will read. Depends on the color and what the intent is.
Don't know about your rip but you shouldn't have any trouble.

PD is a grande format digital print dude. His advice/opinions may not apply to the 4color/offset/web world of printing

If you are doing 70% over 100% of the same color it doesn't seem like it would show up??!?!

Maybe you could post the image for us with the colors you are using so we can help you a little better?!

No, it will be fine. The image should show up as being lighter than the backround, if I'm not mistaken.
