designing a brochure- resource suggestions?

hello all- I am designing a brochure for my design class and am having trouble with the layout, type placement in relation to my images etc.

does anyone have any suggestions of some resources that might help? a website or book i should look at?

if you'd like to hear about my concept etc., i'd be more than happy to email it to you if you'd like to offer some advise- but i can't disclose it here (dumb i know but many theifs in class, i tell ya!)just email me about it with 'brochure' in the subject line-
