How do I get my Avatar to show?

I submited an avatar in my profile but it never shows wehn I post. How do I get it to show?

Here are the instructions from the FAQ:

To put an image under your name on the left side of the page (an avatar), click on the 'Control Panel' button up in the upper left hand of the page. Click the 'Edit Options' and scroll down the page a ways to the avatar section. You can choose an avatar from the gallery available, or upload a custom avatar of your own. (Images larger than 20KB will not be accepted. Images larger than 100x100 pixels will be resized automatically.)

Make sure you click 'upload avatar' and 'submit' so it is saved.

What about now with the forum change? Do we get to use avatars? How about sigs, because my sigs on my old posts look like they're part of the post (obviously you can be creative and do something like below on my new sig)?

You can upload your avatar in the userCP

Thanks J. That's what I get for moving my eyes around too fast. I blazed right past that navbar, didn't even know it was there until after I posted. I'll be honest, this will take some getting used to, but after that everything will be just dandy.

I only get one radio button that says "Do not use avatar". No upload option. Unless it's elsewhere? (mac, 10.3.9, safari/firefox)

Try logging out/in. The site's heavily cookie dependent.

A little further down from that radio button should be a text box to input the URL or the directory location of your pic. I'm on IE 6.0, Toshiba Satellite, Win XP.

Pd might be a Mac/browser thing...works for me on Safari but not IE or Firefox.

I don't know what changed but now I have the extra box. In Firefox.
