Newsletter Question

I'm looking to start a regular newsletter for our 250+ online customers but I have no idea how to implement HTML into an e-mail and get it to work.

Does anyone have any tips? I'm currently spending most of my time in GoLive 6, but if you know of a method how to do this without software or if you know of another program that might help, please let me know.
