I don't suppose anyone might be willing to help me make a cute buddy icon? Lame, I know. But I need to do something to pass the time.

I want something that looks like the mac website graphics (white backgrounds, bubbly, and kinda glossy looking) but I want it to be a bag of chips. I know it's strange.

advice would be appreciated. I have VERY VERY limited experience with photoshop. As in I know how to tweak clip art graphics. I don't have the time/money to learn to use/buy photoshop filters either. I'm just a dork who wants something to do, and doesn't have a creative bone in her body.

Photoshop comes with plenty of filters. You don't need to buy any. There are many tutorials for photoshop that will introduce you to the basic functions. That is how I learned. Try Google or designertoday.com.

Once you get something started post it and we can advise.

I was also going to suggest that you google "photoshop tutorials"... you can post your work in the "Showcare" section of the forum for feedback if you like.
