Seeking info about Canadian packaging trends

Hello everyone. I am in need of information about the current trends in package design in Canada and how they are different or similar to other parts of the world. Does anyone know,specially those among us from Canada, where I might be able to find such information. I plan on running a google search, but I was wondering if people knew of other sources of information I might be able to tap into. Any help or comments are appreciated, G

The PAC National Packaging Competition showcases a bunch of award winning stuff in a bunch of different categories, you can enter it as well but it costs an arm and a leg to submit stuff.
