No not Marge or Homer, but 20th Century Fox has invited me and my contact in Sweden to go to their place in Soho Square, London, to meet with the guys who let me design Simpsons things.
It's going to be a "learn more about the Simpsons Future" meeting with direction towards perfecting the products for the future market.
eeek, exciting but nervy too.

Yes, that is great news red raw. Hope it really pays off for you ... you do some really crisp work. Needless to say, some good sleep for tomorrow would be a good tip.

Update: Well it was cool. Really Cool!
First of all the Security guard was a right laugh. People were ringing up for Star Wars premier tickets and the security guard was humourously advising them to go to the star wars website, whilst subtley taking the piss out of their desparation.
The meeting room was soooo cooool! They had Fox memorabilia everywhere, from little miniatures of all the characters to 3 foot models of Simpsons, Family Guy, Robots...etc...
I wanted to stay there and geek-it-up but business is business.
The woman I met was Karon (spelled that way!) and she was very nice. We went through all the Simpsons work I had done and we worked out areas of improvement as well as the direction to go for... It was a worthwhile day.
On the downside I have been given a Kick up the azul by my contact in Sweden as they are starting to share my workload with this other guy. Basically whenever I'm too busy to do everything at once for both clients, some of the work will be passed on to John.
I'm pretty pissed off to be honest but it's my fault as my work-time management has needed improvement for ages... too many days spent on forums or on the playstation.
It might be the warning i needed though as I do rely on one company to bring me 90% of my workload, i should put more eggs in other baskets, so I'll be attacking new areas and plotting worldwide domination in the next few months.
A good day really, I'm cream crackered now though... hee hee, one day in London and I'm using the slang!
