Sorry Lati, I missed this post. I have a EOS slr and I love it. Set it for auto when you don't want to mess with it or set everythig up manually for that artsy look.

Canon Power Shot A80. I have a A300 at home and although it lakes the zoom and is only three mega pixels it the prints that I've gotton done are flawless, 4x6 & 5x7.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. I want one that can double as a web cam too, and shoot 30 second movies.

Canons it for me. I would go with Nikon but Canon give you a better value for your dollar. Also almost all the Canons have a movie MPEG mode.

I got this one at work:

And at home I got this one:

But they got two new models the A75 and A310 which might be a better value for you guys.

I looooove my Canon EOS DIgital Rebel (D30) it was not as exepnsive as the D10 or D1, have a 6mp engine in here and all my lenses that go on my Canon EOS Rebel 35mm work on it, i saved a lot of money by using a digital that would accept my 35mm lenses.

Allen,

How much did your D30 cost you? I'm looking at getting the FujiFilm FinePix S7000. My Canon S20 Powershot ( 3.3MP from way back in 1999 ) is starting to show its age.

Thanks Drorain...but we have the Kodaks where I work and I have a strong dislike for them http://graphicdesignforum.com/emoticons/wacko.gif Can't really explain WHY but I just don't like em. Plus, we had3 brand new ones just totally crap out and we had to replace them...why my boss doesn't listen to me about the cameras and keeps buyin em I dunno! Also I don't like how "light" it is. I like my camara to have a little bit of weight to it.

http://graphicdesignforum.com/emoticons/oops.gif.....I didn't mean to "bash" the Kodak...was just explaing why I didn't like them. Thanks again tho!! http://graphicdesignforum.com/emoticons/cheers.gif
