Happy towns, Depressing towns. (http://articles.health.msn.com/id/100103843?GT1=6410)

Nice info if you're looking to move. I can speak on behalf of Des Moines and Madison, even though they are located in a pair of the least exciting states in the US (Iowa and Wisconsin...ROCK ON!!! :p )...both towns are awesome, but I don't agree with it being a tie (Madtown is better).

Statesboro Georgia is a happy and confortable town, just big enough to have pleasantries but not too big to have muh of a traffic problem like nearby Savannah. Also home to Georgia Southern University.

Anchorage, Alaska ranks #12 on the happy list. This is mildly surprising to me since we endure such long, dark winters.

Hmmm, Mine made the bad list. What a bunch of BS though. That's like saying that my thousand person rockin party is better than yours because I only have three losers in the corner not having a good time, and you have four.

Columbia, MO-The 'Berkeley' of the midwest. Like liberal pot laws and hippies, oh yeah come here:)

4. St. Louis, MO: F

this doesn't surprise me at all....I was more depressed in STL than I was anywhere...

St. Louis is really depressing (which is why I live right outside it), but it's got a few bright spots now and then. Well...you have to look reeeeally hard....

Allen Harkleroad

Yes Big Five points is right beside Underground Atlanta, Big Five Points is the main Marta Train/bus station (LOL). it is across peachtree from Underground. I knew you had to be talking about Little Five Points <g> Euclid Ave, area.
