(who said beer doesn't make you smart, it sure made "bud wiser" )

Drinking alcohol boosts the growth of new nerve cells in the brain, research suggests.

Doesn't make mention as to what sectors of the brain grow though ... that would be interesting to know.

One night at Cheers, Cliff Clavin explained the "Buffalo Theory" to his buddy Norm:
"Well ya see, Norm, its like this. A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members. In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Excessive intake of alcohol, as we know, kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine! Thats why you always feel smarter after a few beers."

I had a friend that had this same theroy. He said that if you got your brain cells drunk they would have sex, thus creating new baby brain cells.

Slightly different, but same concept :D :D

I wonder if that's true. Actually it is. Ever since I gave it up, I've become an absolute idoiot. Uncle will be pleased her instinct was correct (as always).

I'm thinking I need to start drinking again ... actually ... maybe not. It saves me a lot of money, and I hate feeling sick. Maybe I am just strange!? Who knows!? Everyone enjoy a barrel on me.

Oh .. did I mention that I come from the planet Amazonia (yes, I am the only appointed man on the planet - it is a busy life - shhhh, keep it secret)?

I heard those Amazonians like to hurt men, and not in a good way. I guess you must run a lot <g> and are not the slowest in the heard (LOL).

That is just what the media would have you believe, Allen. Think about it ... if men knew that the Amzonians enjoyed men as much as I enjoy the Amazonians, there wouldn't be enough women to satisfy my appetite (does such a number even exist - who cares ... give me more).
