So I made this site using XHTML and CSS. Then went and used a Content Management System to control the content so my client can easily update what she wants via the interface and unless she messes something up awfully I won’t have to bother her or vise versa.
Anyhow it’s 90% done I’m not 100% happy with the flash banner and will rework it a bit but tear it apart and give me your opinions.

I really do not like that font. Only a few aliased fonts really work for web content ... I'd stick to Verdana, Tahoma, Arial, Helvetica etc ...
I think the structure is working, and the navigation is nice and easy, but it just looks so boring!? I think it's the lack of love, benjo ... sit back, take a rest, consider that Jennifer is a lovely looking lady, and apply that though to the design, lol.
Constructively, I'd clean up your flash images (furry images look terrible - I know flash isn't the best program for importing images into, but you can remove the pixel-shift that is occuring by paying attention to the absolute pixel positioning of the image, with the help of 'snap to pixels'). As for the grey block for the main body of texts ... I'd ditch it. It is fine for the header, but it isn't working for the main text.
Just a few thoughts. As I say, imagine you're handling Jennifer (a beautiful woman) and you shouldn't go too far wrong, lol.

Good critique, thanks for the advice. As far as the font goes (New Times Roman) they are set on it.
Images and Flash look horrible I agree but I suck at flash and will be updating it but for now that’s the peak of my knowledge in Flash.
So the grey text box doesn’t work? Ummm I’ll play with that a bit.
I have a good idea for enhancing the layout and I’ll play with it a bit see what I can come up with.
Thanks!

Overall I think it's quite nice. It has a soft, pleasing quality to it. Like Ulysses, I found it hard to read. Sometimes just bumping up the line-height in the CSS will help. Getting that little extra space between the lines makes some things a lot easier to read. Other than that I think I would probably try to work a little more color into the body of the pages just for a little warmth. Very nice.

It's a simple CMS system mostly used for blogs but since it's lightweight I used it for this site. It's http://www.textpattern.com/
