I had the worse day of my life today! All 'cos of this crappy old creative book project! I hate making things with umm pastel and umm black card and umm ink and umm whatever!

I'm so behind on this project, I got myself a formal warning for the lack of concentration in class and poor attendance! How harsh is that? Somebody show some sympathy please...

I got two weeks left now, and it's like I'm being forced to eat cottage cheese... aarrgghhhh!

Sounds like you need some medication, I think Dr. Rye has just the antidote for the school blues.

WR are you SURE you want to be in the graphic field? Lots of jobs out here to hate. But you have to do em.

WR, I don't think you'll get much sympathy here. Working is harder than school, guaranteed.

seriously... in the work-world, this could get you fired.

Enjoy school while it lasts, because it certainly doesn't get EASIER once you graduate.

Have a look at this article about what to expect from a career in graphic design:

Just wait for soccer mom projects, and you'll be begging for those school projects.

But chin up young Jedi, it's called working your way up...you have to start somewhere. I've been at the bottom of the barrel for much longer than I should have, but if my break finally comes someday, then I know all that hard work paid off and I would be well rewarded (came SOOOO close last month). If you want this bad enough, you're going to have to go through some bad, bad times first. On the other hand, make sure you're at least learning about the business in those bad times. If your employer doesn't give you that, then high time to move on.

As mentioned, cherish these college moments...but not all for the same reasons the above said. My college days were frankly some of the happiest moments of my life.

You know what Mary Poppins says.."Make it a game! [singing] Just a spoonful of sugar make the medicine go down..."

Sheesh! I wish my troubles were so simple.
