Just wanted to say hi, and I'm back from my trip out to Cali for Coachella. I probably won't have much time to post today (being the 1st day back from vacay), but I just wanted to say hello.

Highlights from Coachella (my top 10 sets):

10. Immortal Technique - political hip-hip—¡viva la revolucion!
9. Sixtoo - amazingly chill DJ/producer
8. K-os - really great true-school hip hop
7. M83 - really powerful post-rock/electronica
6. M.I.A. - Missy Elliott style hip hop from Sri Lanka
5. Sage Francis - indie hip hop at its finest
4. New Order - these old dudes still rock (plus they played some Joy Div.)
3. Nine Inch Nails - put on a really intense show
2. Black Star - Mos Def and Kweli along with special guest Common
1. The Arcade Fire - amazing performance with tons of shennanigans

Wow, I would love to see Black Star and Common. I bet that was live.

Do you like the Perceptionist? I saw them again on 4/19. Awesome Show. Black Dialog is a solid CD. Akrobatik is my current favorite but, Mr. Lif can get real deep.

Yeah, I dig the Perceptionists. I watched a few songs, but it was in the hottest part of the day on the main stage which had no shade whatsoever. They were putting on a good show. I've seen Lif about 4 or 5 times, and he impresses me with his stage prescence every time.
