Print Styles in Quark / PPD's

Hi,

I tried importing a print style into Quark in order to create the right PDF files. However, i needed to install an Adobe PS Installer 8.8 first. What i don't get so far is whether i need a laserwriter setup or not if i want to be able to use PPD files and import them into Quark. After installing Adobe PS Installer 8.8 the computer kept asking for an installer and Quark created a default Print style. Does this Adobe PS Installer 8.8 work at all with Quark 6 or OSX? Anxious to find out the right way to do it.

When Distiller was installed on my machine, I received an "AdobePDF" printer. I still use the same .ppd file in q6 as I did in q4...
