Yeah, what is your favourite food?:)
I love italian food: pizza, spaghetti etc etc etc.
And i love my mom's soup, it's russian and it tastes great! Yam yam!

I'm afraid I don't have an ounce of Italian in me ... those spicey sauces and all, just don't agree with me.

I love anything rice based pretty much. Also can't beat a good traditional English Roast Dinner. Ummm ... roast ... dumplings ... I lurrrve dumplings.

By the way Russian Girl, you could have very easily titled the thread: "What is your favourite meal? people?" Hahaha.

Ordinarily - I have an Italian fresh pasta with fresh basil, tomatoes, caramelized onions (mmmmmmm)

Depends on the time of day I suppose...

Morning: Mom's french toast, turkey bacon, strawberries, and a tall glass of O.J.

Lunch: Turkey on rye with mustard with lettuce and peppers, garden salad, Sun chips, and Sprite

Dinner (very tough call): NY Strip Steak (marinated in my secret Jack Daniels sauce), salt potatoes, fresh green beans, a nice glass of Merlot (Behringer or Bully Hill)

Dessert: One word, people: Tiramisu.

banana fritters and ginger tea on a cold rainy day.
a mix of red beans, small jellys, crushed ice, and colurful sweet syrups on a hot humid day.

thai tom yam soup with slices of fish thats so soft it melts in your mouth. and bread with spicy fish head curry. oh and spinach soup.

it is sooo hard to pick a favorite, but I am going to say: chicken alfredo with a nice light champagne, followed by cheesecake...

Mmm... that really makes the sandwich I packed for lunch look less appetizing. :p

favorite meal? hmmm, i'd have to say tortilla soup seasoned with pasilla chiles and epazote, garnished with avocado, queso fresco and crispy tortilla strips. then, for the main course, taquitos de pollo con queso and some rice. hmmm. just made some yesterday to celebrate cinco de mayo and it was delicious! topped off with some coronas with lime. we broke with the mexican theme for dessert and had some boston cream pie with coffee.
