I don't know if this is old news to you, but I was extremely excited to see that Adobe will acquire Macromedia in a deal valued at $3.4 billion.
Does this mean no more toggling between Fireworks and ImageReady, Freehand and Illustrator, or Dreamweaver and GoLive? Hopefully, they'll smartly combine all of the very best features... and somewhere down the line, Apple will merge with Adobe, and complete world domination can begin! (I'm a big fan of Apple and Adobe, but I'm sure the SEC will be watching for monopoly.)
